“Towards Global Coherence and Domestic Resilience” – TUAC ad hoc Meeting on Trade and Investment Policy

We are pleased to invite you to a TUAC ad-hoc event on trade and investment, under the title “Towards Global Coherence and Domestic Resilience“, on Wednesday 29 September between 13:00 – 15:30 CEST.

The event will take place digitally on Zoom, and it intends to bring forefront trade union’s considerations on free trade and investment policy, focusing in particular on the impact that the opening of economies to foreign trade and investment has on workers and job quality.

Beside trade union and OECD experts, speakers include Dawn SHACKLEFORD (Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for  Southeast Asia and the Pacific and Chair of the OECD Trade Committee), Sean DOHERTY (Member of the Executive Committee of the World Economic Forum), Manfred SCHEKULIN (Chair of the OECD Investment Committee) and others.
